St. Bartholomew the Apostle, feast day August 24Hope you all had (and perhaps still have) a nice holiday! Welcome back in Wageningen!

Father Henri is back from holiday, which means that the masses, adoration and confessions will be as usual again.

For those who don't know the schedule yet, enclosed you will find the Holy Mass schedule of the remaining of August and some general information about ICC.

Furthermore a few announcements/questions:

New students

At this moment, the new students are joining the Annual Introduction Days. Next Wednesday there will be an information market at the Arboretum (11:00 - 15:00), but surely you will meet new students everywhere. Perhaps they are looking for a catholic church in Wageningen, but did not find it yet. We therefore kindly ask you to be a missionary, i.e., to introduce the ICC to the new students, and to make them feel at home at our parish.

Since Thursday evening the ICC-banner is visible at our church again. A banner will not be enough, however, since it does not show anybody aroud: enthousiastic, inspiring words of an experienced ICC member is so much more informative and comforting! Thank you in advance for your help.

Parish Day, September 11 (for your diary)

Sunday September 11 will be the ónly Sunday of the year without a Holy Mass at 12:30. Instead, there will be a Mass at 10:00 for the whole Wageningen (and thus also International) catholic community. The Mass will be a mixed Dutch/English Mass.

After the Mass we continue the celebration at the square in front of the church (if the weather is fine), where world music will be played, and where there will be drinks and food. Of course we cannot do this without your help; more information wil follow. It will be a very promising day/afternoon, so keep this day free in your diary! You will not regret ;-)

Volunteers

We can always use volunteers; for doing the readings, helping with the offertory, helping with the coffee/tea, joining one of our choirs, etcetera. If you want to be a volunteer, don't be shy; feel free to ask where you can help.
