|From all over the world young people gather in our parish to study, work, live and meet new friends. Veenendaal and Ede are two of the bigger cities in our parish and hold many higher educations, whereas Wageningen is particularly known for its university and young international population.
Did you know that Wageningen has the most nationalities/mile2…in the world? You’ll meet many of them at the campus and in the cafés. But what about the church? Maybe you were used to regularly visit a parish back home, or maybe you’re just curious and like to come by some time?
The ICC welcomes you all! Many of the members have lived in the Netherlands for a long time already, some stay around for just a couple years, and some are new.
On this part of the website, you will find information about the community and activities they organize or that are otherwise of interest for you.

In response to the tightened government measures against the spread of the coronavirus on March 23, the Dutch bishops have taken additional measures. All public liturgical celebrations, including those in small circles during the week, are canceled for the entire Easter period, up to and including Pentecost (on May 31). For further information, see this document on Corona measures and the the Archdiocese website (in Dutch).
Also all public gatherings such as the Day of Prayer, the Flowers and Bees in Bennekom, the Bible course for dummies, etc .. are canceled or postponed until further notice.
Churches can remain open to individual visitors who come for prayer or to light a candle and / or bring a gift to the food bank.
Please find attached the 5th newsletter with specific news related to the Corona virus. Please look at it thoroughly? Please remember in your prayers all the victims of the virus and all who help them?
A recording has been made of the Holy Mass of March 24, 2020. This is the Mass of the Sollemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord to the H. Virgin Mary. On the 25th of March, nine months before Christmas, the Church celebrates the Sollemn Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord to the Holy Virgin Mary. In the dark times in which the people of God then lived, God gave hope to His people by the Archangel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary. Let us pray with Mary for hope and strength in these times.
A recording has been made of the Holy International Mass of March 15, 2020. This weekend is the Laetare (Latin for Rejoice U) or semi-fasting or the fourth Sunday in Forty Days, a period of reflection in preparation for Easter.
Most recent measures: The Dutch bishops have announced that the public liturgical celebrations on Palmsunday, all other days of the Good week and Easter are cancelled. All previously taken measures are extended until April 13. They have decided this with pain in their hearts.
Lent has begun. A period of preparation your heart and soul for Easter, by focusing more consciously on yourself as a Christian, e.g., by fasting from food or from certain habits, by taking some additional time to pray and reflect, by sharing and giving, etcetera.
